Why are we putting out this OPEN CALL? Because we want to bring different voices in circus closer together. In 2027, FOCASA is creating an intimate circus tent for an audience of 180. A space where performances can come closer to audiences, and where artists from different places, cultures, and creative languages can meet one another. From Taiwan to the world. From one work to another. From artists to audiences under the same circus tent.

Itโs a space for circus artists, works, and audiences to come closer, meet, and connect.
When the distance gets smaller, encounters become possible.
And every encounter can open up new possibilities for circus.
