As a co-production partner, Dansekapellet can provide rehearsal space and stage facilities; lighting, sound, and technical equipment; choreographic and dramaturgical feedback and guidance; financial support; production support and fundraising; PR; and lighting design and technical assistance. A co-production agreement adjusted to the specific needs of each production—while considering the overall budget of the co-production program—will be developed in dialogue with the selected projects.

Applications are welcome for performances involving multiple co-production partners, as well as for works that are currently at the conceptual or early development stage.

HOW TO APPLY:

Send a brief letter of interest to info@dansekapellet.dk no later than October 4. Please use the subject line: "Co-produktion 26/27" followed by the title or working title of the performance. Please attach a PDF describing your project (approx. 1,000 characters for the description), the artistic team, your preferred production and performance periods, and a brief outline of the estimated production budget.

Describe the funding already secured for the project—or state if no funds have been allocated yet—and outline how you would like Dansekapellet to contribute as a co-production partner. Please attach the CVs of the applicant and the artistic team (ideally including video links to trailers, showreels, or past works) along with any other relevant material to help us evaluate your expression of interest.

Alternatively, you are welcome to submit your expression of interest as a video in which you answer the same questions.

If further information is required to assess your material, you will be contacted after the application deadline.

The selected projects will be contacted and invited to a meeting in early October 2026 to discuss the proposal; a joint budget and a co-production agreement will subsequently be drawn up.
