Circus Centre is situated in De Expeditie, on the former ACEC site in the Sluizeken-Tolhuis-Ham district, just outside the city centre. Access is available via Dok Noord or Sint Salvatorstraat. Since 2016, Dok Noord has included a shopping centre with underground parking facilities, available for a fee.
By Bicycle
You can easily reach De Expeditie by bike from nearby streets such as Sint-Salvatorstraat, Dok Noord, and Sassevaartstraat. There is a covered bicycle shed adjacent to De Expeditie (Building F).
From Gent Sint-Pieters Station
(Note: From January 2023, tram routes may be diverted.) Take tram 4 towards 'Muide-Moscou' and alight at 'Heilig-Kerst'. Walk approximately 200m along Sint-Salvatorstraat (an extension of Sleepstraat) until you reach a cycle and pedestrian underpass on the right, near the large gate in front of Lunchtime sandwich shop (No. 18). Enter here, pass between the buildings beside the sandwich shop, and you'll find Block F: De Expeditie on your right.
From Ghent Dampoort Station
Head towards Dok Zuid - Stapelplein upon leaving the station. After a 20-minute walk, you'll encounter the main entrance at Dok Noord 4 (just after Meyvaert), located on your left beyond the mail sorting centre and shortly after a bend. Enter here and walk 150m towards the right side of the De Expeditie building.
By Bus
Bus line 5 stops at Heilig-Kerst, which is also served by tram 4.
Arrival by Car
Follow the signs towards Ghent city centre and take exit 1 (other directions). At the traffic lights, turn right onto the small ring road around Ghent (R40). Continue on the R40 until you reach the large roundabout at Dampoort. Take the exit towards Eeklo to stay on the R40. After passing Dok Zuid and Stapelplein, you will reach Dok Noord 4.
The Dok Noord underground car park, which offers 800 spaces, is located 100 metres from De Expeditie. The entrance to the car park is halfway along Sassevaartstraat. Park your car underground and exit at Carelsplein. From Carelsplein, it is a 100-metre walk to De Expeditie (Building F).
